ABOUT
William Glen Jones is an Atlanta-based filmmaker and multimedia journalist with over a decade of experience behind the camera. His work spans short films, documentaries, corporate videos, and podcasts, showcasing a versatile and dynamic approach to visual and audio storytelling.
Most recently, William served as director of the short film Subscribe for More, which screened at the Georgia Film Festival. He also served as producer on the short film Dear Gavin, written and directed by Christopher Aaron Barrow, which is currently premiering on the festival circuit.
William graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in May 2025, where he earned his BFA in Film Production. Here, he developed his cinematic language and experience managing productions. He also co-founded and served as president for the UM Film Club, the University of Mississippi’s first and only film appreciation club, which now yields over 300 members.
William also served in several editorial leadership roles at The Daily Mississippian — one of the nation’s top collegiate newspapers. Here, he worked to develop compelling arts & culture articles and film criticism, shot/edited video, as well as hosted a weekly podcast. His multimedia work extends to for-hire collaborations with TK Elevator, The Ford Foundation, and Clorox, among others.
William approaches each project with a fresh perspective and with an eye for bridging all facets of the media landscape. He remains deeply committed to collaborative, boundary-pushing projects.
